The Proxes RR features an enhanced-grip tread compound, a semi-slick tread pattern, two 4/32-inch circumferential grooves, and wear inspection holes in the slick regions. It is ready to race without shaving, and Toyo recommends heat cycling before competition to help improve wear and performance consistency. Reinforced sidewalls and symmetric construction support cornering stability, while the reversible design and sidewall marking area make tire management easier for racers.
This is a purpose-built track tire, so it should never be driven in wet conditions, standing water, or temperatures near freezing.
